This premier, invitation-only program will provide directors the opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers and senior Deloitte representatives. Participants will hear from prominent speakers on timely corporate governance topics. The Directors’ Series combines an interactive simulcast delivered to nearly 40 U.S. cities with local discussions. The next event will be held on June 4, 2014.
Bob Kueppers, managing partner for Deloitte LLP’s Center for Corporate Governance, moderates the program which is focused on business and governance issues facing the board. The June 4, 2014 program will bring together a panel of directors who represent leaders in business with diverse backgrounds from government, politics and entrepreneurship. Attendees can earn continuing education by receiving insight on timely corporate governance topics. For directors of New York Stock Exchange listed companies, the Directors’ series is a convenient way to address listing standards associated with director orientation and continuing education. For attendees interested in Continuing Professional Education (CPE), credits are available based on participation.
Deloitte LLP’s Center for Corporate Governance created the Directors’ Series to provide board leaders access to insightful concepts, practical strategies, and critical information that can help them perform more effectively in their roles. Attendees will have an opportunity to weigh in on the topics discussed each location, exchange views with peers and senior Deloitte representatives in the room. As directors gain important knowledge, Deloitte senior representatives build and enhance relationships with their clients’ boards of directors.
