Starting 1 January 2012 the Legal Entities are Criminally Liable

Pursuant to the new act, the companies will now face the new concept of criminal liability according to which they will be held liable not only for the acts of their management and supervisory bodies but also of their employees. The criminal liability of legal entities has been a common legal element in EU countries used to mitigate crime committed by companies’ management.
