With the outlook for global business conditions increasingly uncertain, the focus for boards clearly remains on risk management and intelligent risk-taking. The pressure on audit committees has never been greater. Factoring risk into committees’ year end activities and 2012 work plans, communicating effectively with investors and stakeholders, and responding to ever changing regulatory requirements are just a few of the challenges.
